Our goal is to give folks information about different animals, and outdoor activities. You will see a few short stories on my Northwoods experiences along with fishing reports and tips. VILAS COUNTY TRAILS ARE OPEN

WANT TO SNOWMOBILE IN VILAS COUNTY? WELL 8am TOMMOROW MORNING (FRIDAY17th) THE TRAILS SURROUNDING LAND O’ LAKES WILL BE OPEN. You read right, so pack your gear, load the sleds and head on up. Mother Nature just wouldn’t cooperate last year, and this winter wasn’t looking much better until we started getting 1 inch of snow at a time. Sure, we have had the cold weather, but unfortunately, we never got the heavy wet snow needed for a good base (4 to 6 inches) on the trails.
