Hello and welcome to AllNorthwoods.com, a site dedicated to everything that makes the Northwoods what they are and why people flock to them all year. Our goal is to give folks information about different animals, and outdoor activities. You will see a few short stories on my Northwoods experiences along with fishing reports and tips. SNOWMOBILING FROM LAND O LAKES

We’ll keep our fingers crossed, but It’s a good possibility that Vilas County could open the snowmobile trails Monday December 15th.  I wrote last week what is involved to opening, maintaining and keeping snowmobile trails in the best possible condition throughout the season and that responsibility falls on each towns snowmobile club (ALL VOLUNTEERS) members. As I mentioned, those volunteers are responsible for grooming many miles of trails and they put in a lot of hours so people can ride on the best trails in Wisconsin. Vilas County alone has over 600 miles of groomed trails, so where to begin…
