Hello and welcome to AllNorthwoods.com, a site dedicated to everything that makes the Northwoods what they are and why people flock to them all year. Our goal is to give folks information about different animals, and outdoor activities. You will see a few short stories on my Northwoods experiences along with fishing reports and tips. With the title of this article, one might think that Walleyes are just about jumping in boats. Well, that’s not the case. Like the rest of you, I’m waiting for a summer pattern, and it hasn’t happened yet. As most of you know, I’m always asking anglers what they are catching, where (weeds, rocks, wood) and depth each species are being caught. This time of year, I am usually fishing mid-lake humps and deeper rock bars for Walleye, but not now.
